We are seeking self-motivated individuals who desire to have a direct impact on the science within our early stage, fast-paced, and dynamic biotech. The candidates will have extensive hands-on experience in developing and performing molecular and cellular tumor biology assays and an abiding interest in drug discovery.

This role will establish state-of-the-art cellular assays and ex vivo and in vivo models to validate therapeutic targets, demonstrate efficacy of lead compounds, and perform detailed mechanism of action studies internally and with external partners.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Perform various in vitro biology experiments to advance Parthenon's pipeline and discovery platform and validate new target candidates
  • Grow and engineer cells using CRISPR in traditional and complex co-culture and 3D assay formats
  • Evaluate cellular biomarkers using any number of state-of-the-art methods (westerns, immunofluorescence, RTPCR, ELISAs, HTRF and alphaLISA, etc)
  • Evaluate cellular phenotypic endpoints using various growth, migration, and morphology assays
  • Develop and execute various cellular assays

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of full-time experience working in a biology lab, with industry experience being preferable
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
  • Extensive tissue culture experience and various routine analytical methods (westerns/ELISAs, etc.)
  • Experience with siRNA/shRNA/CRISPR is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot
  • Past lab managerial experience is a plus
  • Flow cytometry or FACS experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with immunology/immuno-oncology assays is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute experiments, effectively interpret results, and independently troubleshoot as needed
